A Personal Invitation from the Chairman

Dear Members and Friends,

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to our annual President's Day, one of the highlights of the club calendar and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything that makes Whalley Range Cricket & Lawn Tennis Club such a special place.

We have enjoyed another successful year across cricket, tennis and our wider club community, and President's Day provides an opportunity for members, families and friends to come together and recognise those achievements.

The day will begin at 12.30pm with a complimentary glass of Prosecco or non-alcoholic alternative, available until 1.30pm. I will then give a short welcome and club update at 1.00pm, followed by a complimentary buffet lunch from 1.30pm, with dietary requirements catered for.

There will be plenty of sport to enjoy throughout the day, including junior cricket, women's softball cricket, our annual tennis tournament and social tennis, together with an important Women's 1st XI league fixture and a presentation recognising last season's league-winning success. Should our Girls U15s win their next cup match, they will also be in action.

We will also be showing the Men's Wimbledon Final live on the big screen from 4.00pm, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy both on and off the field.

Whether you are a playing member, social member, volunteer, parent or supporter, I hope you will join us for what promises to be a fantastic day at the club.
